Interesting old converted mill, with wonderful folks taking care of you and historic Old Salem just a couple of blocks away. A tasty full breakfast is served every morning, and I loved the milk and cookies served every evening between 8 and 10pm. Highly recommended!

What a delightful surprise! The work to convert an old cotton mill into a hotel has been amazingly successful. Even our room with a single queen was very spacious, and the price was quite reasonable. Convenient location to walk around old Salem. Nice to have a hot breakfast to start out the day. Listening to the soft jazz trio Wednesday evening was a real pleasure. Thank you! We have already recommended the Brookstown Inn to friends.

Lovely Inn where we have stayed before in our travels.
Our room was on the top floor and the heat was almost unbearable. Finally cooled off early a.m. We did ask for an additional fan in our room but were told that they did not have any available.

The location is great, centrally located to everything we were in Winston Salem to see. The bathroom and the provided hygiene supplies were very nice.
Our room was too small and noisy. there was a fan or motor in the wall that ran constantly. the refrigerator in the room was so loud.

Great stay. Staff was excellent.
The furniture in the room was very dated, but the bed was comfortable. It might be time to upgraded the furnishings.

As stated above,the staff was great. Comfort and Cleanliness of the inn was great and the cookies and milk in the evening was a great finish to the day.
