The staff are very professional. Rooms are a good size and feel homely. The waterfall style showers are brilliant!!!!

The location was great and close to all of the attractions and restaurants and bars. I love the rustic feel and exposed brick. It was a wonderful getaway at a really unique and quaint hotel.
Noise carried in the building. We could hear the conversation of our neighbors very clearly.

The uniqueness of the interior. So different with a European/Itailian feel. Very vintage. Love the waterfall shower with an additional hand-held sprayer.
Did not like that breakfast was not offered.

The shower is beyond wonderful. The renovation captures all the best qualities of the era--ceiling height, beams, windows. Total win.
Totally inadequate electrical connectivity! Another chair, please. Hard to have a meeting! Sheets are wrong. More pillows needed.

I did not stay at the 1857. I had to cancel at the last minute and the 1957 staff graciously accepted my request to cancel, without penalty. Thank you!

The location was great....Overall good experience
Only concern was the ability...or inability I should say to adjust the temperature in our room. Slept cold at night and hot during the day....needs a control in order to operated as desired.

The hotel was very clean and unique. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very cozy the bed was comfortable I really enjoyed my stay. We would stay here every time we visit.
