The resort itself is spectacular-- acres of gardens, pathways, waterfalls and meandering waterways, all under a glass ceiling. Every corner has something beautiful to see. Staff is accommodating and personable; the prevailing attitude is one of service. It is an ideal location for a conference or workshop (we had nearly 7,000 attendees!).
Getting around such a large facility could be difficult and confusing; many activities (lunch, using a restroom, checking in or out) involved standing in line... useful for networking, but sometimes difficult for scheduling.

We had a gorgeous view from our room. Everything there is so beautiful. Every atrium is unique and perfectly kept. Loved staying there. It was worth the $$$ to stay there. They had a themed scavenger hunt when we were there. It was Alice in wonderland . Very cute!
The $29 a night to park there per night. Considering the amount that the room cost, I feel the price to park should be much lower. With a $20 a night "hotel fee" and the $29 a night "parking fee it added another $100 to our stay there. That was unexpected but we had no choice but to pay it.

We came prepared for sweltering weather and were quite pleased to find the entire complex air conditioned. A very pleasant surprise. We can envision a week long stay without having to leave the resort.

I loved the room overlooking the Cascades Atrium.
Not really. The prices are of course quite high.
