Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center

Love the ambiance! The meal at Old Hickory was delish, but grossly overpriced.

We had a parlor room. LOVED the size of the room, but the pull out couch bed was terribly lumpy. I understand it IS a pullout, but I think there could be more done to make it more comfortable.

Staff was excellent, went above and beyond to get a room ready for someone with an allergy to scented products.

Expensive cost of rooms and food from local sites. would have to win a lottery to stay there again!.

The resort is absolutely beautiful and there is so much to see and do at the location.

The gardens, waterfalls, restaurants, etc. very lovely. The rooms were only adequate. The grandchildren enjoyed the facility, pool, etc.

Everything, beyond the price for the lodging, was exorbitantly pricey. Shops, restaurants, the EXTRA FEES added to our bill were higher than we have ever paid at comparable hotels such as the Greenbrier, the Grand Hotel, the Oteswaga, Hershey Hotel, etc.

We enjoyed our trip to Nashville! The Gaylord was beautiful! Conveniently located within 20 min drive downtown. The service was excellent. Lots of delicious restaurants to choose from. Live Country music in the evenings at two locations in the hotel! Workout room was nice and open early and late. Great hot tub. Sad pool was closed-off season. Free shuttle to and from airport as well as to Opry mills and Grand Old Opry. However, we chose to walk the trail :)Stop by the Concierge and they offered us a voucher to present at the Opry Mills service desk for coupon book for many discounts to the shops. Gaylord owns Wild-horse Saloon so show them your hotel key and they waive the $15 entry fee. We will return to Gaylord Opryland!

Vallet was $32 per nite and $24 per nite if you park yourself. Only one sit down breakfast location. There are a few coffee/cafe's for a quick stay and or take and go.

I liked everything about my stay at the Gaylord.

I stayed in the Cascades section with an Atrium View. The View From My Room was awesome. The sound of the Waterfalls lulled me to sleep everynight. It was a totally enjoyable experience.

The only downside is that I had to go all the way to the other side of the hotel to have something printed. The FedEx office is in the back of the Convention center. It might be helpful to have a small Self-help office near the Front Desk, with the multifunction Copier/Scanner/Printer. That was all I Needed.
