Hotel Guadalmina

The hotel itself was beautiful and was located by the sea about 10 minutes outside Porta Banus. The hotel facilities and general cleanliness were to a very high standard.Unfortunately the poor attitude and often rude manner of the staff with particular reference to the main hotel restaurant and bar facilities took away from the overall experience.

The hotel staff were so rude I have travelled the world and have never come accross staff so rude the only staff that were not rude were housekeeping. The reception and bar staff were exceptionally rude and ignorant. The hotel is not child friendly for a pram there are steps everywhere. I also felt they were making up the prices as i was charges a few differant prices for the same drink at the bar. WOULD NOT RETURN AND RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.

Very nice and quiet hotel. Prompt and friendly service. Cooking quality was fuller.

I was surprised at the lack of security at the hotel and surrounds. There was a much better choice and selection for breakfast at other 4star hotels i have stayed in on the coast.

Regarding the room, bedding was uncomfortable, very noisy air conditioning, a decoration that was not warm and friendly staff shortly. We stay in Andalusia for 10 days and Guadalmina hotel was our last "step" and compared to what we have seen in other regions we were disappointed when it was for us when booking the hotel we would book the more benefits this has not been case.
