River Hills is a great hotel. My room was wonderful (I had a one bedroom suite). Staff was friendly and helpful. I had my dog with me, so I especially liked all the grassy areas to walk her. I definitely would stay there again.

Our kids enjoyed spending time in the pool. It is nice that the hotel still provides breakfast.
We could have used a few more choices of donuts, etc. at breakfast. We pre-paid, but were charged again at checkout, so we paid double. This was rectified, but it took numerous phone calls and e-mails to get the charges eliminated.

We were most comfortable with the staff being friendly and accommodating to our needs.
We stayed two weeks and I think cleaning the bathroom during the week could have been more thorough. I had to ask for a toilet brush once to clean it myself and it did not improve after that.

The rooms were nice and spacious loved the kitchenette area! The front desk was very accommodating the hotel was in a nice location to central to many things!
The pool bleached out our swimsuits, the breakfast buffet was not well organized and too small for a weekend crowd food was good!

We checked in at the right time, but when we went to our room, it was not clean. So we stood in hall and waited for them to clean, so I am sure they hurried. The room smelled like smoke, there was spaghetti sauce by stove and a pubic hair in tub. I think something broke in dishwasher as all dishers were dirty and full of black speckles, so I had to go to the front desk for paper plates, etc. We were told quiet hours started at 8:00; however, a group of boys were running up and down our hall at 10:00 and knocked on our door several times.
