My husband would like to thank Mr. Bobby for his tour of the basement photographs and the history of Galveston . Love this place!!!!! Everything was beautiful, the employees are so helpful and I would definitely recommend this hotel!!! Would be awesome for a wedding!!!

Elevator was out of order, but this was not communicated to the guests until the day after.
We wasted a lot of time waiting. Nobody informed. Then we went for the stairs but they only went to 2nd floor. Other stairs were not marked as available. It was giving me a bad feeling in case of any fire, speaking of which the fire alarm sounded just around 11pm. False though.

Resturant was excellent. Very nice walk-in shower in our room.
Our room was small and crowded for the price. Parking was not very good.

The totally best part.of the stay was that the hotel.gave free taxi service to us. The driver Thomas was great, he drove us to a bar on the strand and picked us up before 10 pm.
The only thing we did not like was that there is nothing for a family with a two year old to do at the hotel except swim in the pool.

We absolutely loved the Galvez!!! Sunday Brunch was amazing! Our honeymoon was spectacular, we will be coming back year after year!!!

We loved the location right across the street from the ocean and lots of restaurants nearby.
Not a huge deal but I have to say that my husband and I thought the lounge chairs by the pool had to be the most uncomfortable ones we have ever tried to relax in.

I had the time of my life. I felt like a princess. The staff was unbelievable! It was because of my wonderful experience at your hotel that my trip was so spectacular. I usually can't afford to stay at the Galvaz. I would love to comwe back. When should I schedule to get the cheapest rate or do you ever offer discounts? My husband and I work for the school and would love to have a date and come back.
