Brandywine River Hotel

Quiet.

Poor signage. Hard to identify the main entrance.

The reason I chose the Brandywine River Hotel was its close location to the Brandywine River Museum where I visited and toured the Wyeth Studios. This hotel is centrally located to not only the museum, but to other area attractions as well. The hotel grounds are very well-kept. The hotel is located just off Route 1, which is a very busy road, but it's set back enough from the road to allow for a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The Continental Breakfast was also very good - actually the best I've ever had! The food and beverage selections are ample and the dining room area is very neat and clean. The hotel staff are all very welcoming and they go out of their way to make sure that any needs are met. I highly recommend the Brandywine River Hotel!

Excellent location; ok breakfast.

Seemed a bit run-down. No extras in the room--coffee maker etc. Water was off because of a local break but no offer of bottled water. Room was rather drab. We were in the two bed executive room.

The size of the King Suite was very nice. Wonderful to have both a sofa and arm chair plus footstool. Good comfortable mattress too.

Late evening check-in was frustrating because of a new girl was in training. The physical appearance of both women was no so good.

The rooms were beautiful. I loved the fact that your staff helped me with my surprise and set up my room as I requested. That was very nice of them and it made the stay that much more memorable. Thank you for that.

The price!!! It was bad enough that the room itself was $125 but to just add a jacuzzi made it another $32. Really! It was a special occasion, so I paid for it but I don't think I will be returning any time soon just because I can get a cheaper hotel that is just as nice within the surrounding area. I'm from Concordville originally and I like Chadds Ford, but I can even book a room in Delaware if needed. Sorry, but your price is really a little too high.

The location was great - within easy travel distance to shopping and touring

We felt the rooms needed to be updated. more electrical outlets are necessary.internet service would also have been nice. although breakfast was provided we found it very uninspired and there was little variety from day to day

Wonderful location for visiting estates, gardens etc. Close proximity to restaurants (walking distance). Good breakfast, easily extended an extra day/nite. Thank you.
