Those in the front of the house was very friendly ... and our room was wonderful. We had room enough for drinks with another couple before dinner. And the dinning room was lovely. This was our second visit to the Brandywine River Hotel ... and we'll be back! Happy Holidays to you all!

We have been coming to this hotel for 20 years and it never disappoints!
The afternoon desk person was not terribly friendly. The evening person was great. It was sad to see the furnishing getting to look so shabby.

I always stay at the Brandywine River Hotel when I visit that area. It is much more comfortable than chain hotels, and better kept. It is convenient to the many attractions in the area. Because it is a smaller hotel, it seems more personal to me.

We enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel. It is a warm and welcoming place that makes us feel very comfortable. The peacefulness of the location combined with the comfort of our room provided us with a wonderful night's sleep. In the morning we enjoyed a substantial breakfast in a charming setting.
