I was taking part in the blackpool 1/2 marathon raising money for Claire house childrens hospice, we travelled over on the Saturday and I was ready and refreshed at the start on the sunday morning

Breakfast
Kids running around in the bar area and the walls are too thin in the rooms. The guests in the room next door were very loud.

Staff were friendly.
We were on a Charity fundraising event. Sadly £240 of cash was taken from our charity collection tins whilst in the "safe keeping" of the hotel. No recompense has been offered.

Breakfast
I had to ask 3 times for the beds for my sons to be made up. Eventually at 10.45 a gentleman came up to do one then left but wasn't aware 2 were needed. I had booked a family room for 1 adult and 3 children. They were tired and I could have done without this really.

Everything. The staff were friendly and helpful, the accommodation was very good and we enjoyed the food.
Unfortunately, the pool was out of order, although arrangementts were in place to use another nearby hotel's pool. However, because the weather was so cold when we were there, we did not take advantage of this offer.
