Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location was great for walking downtown in Anchorage. Beds were good and the TV selection was excellent
The place is showing its age. It didn't effect the comfort of the stay but it does reflect on the overall quality of the place.

Friendly, helpful staff. Location convenient to train depot and downtown. Restaurant offered interesting choices and variety.
I had to learn which streets to avoid walking at certain times due to street people hanging out.

The staff was amazing and gracious. We were traveling with another couple and asked the desk clerks if we might play cards in the lobby and they were fine with it. They also were very helpful about little details. The price was very reasonable by Alaskan standards, the location great and the shuttle to the airport was very convenient...not to mention the drivers were personable and entertaining. We booked a second night for our return to Anchorage before flying out because it was just what we needed. (Oh and the laundry facilities were an added plus!)
Through no fault of the hotels there was a very drunk woman in the lobby who was loudly carrying on with two men. I think it was to everyone's relief, including the staff, when she left! Although one wonders if they let her board a plane in her condition!

We appreciated the front desk staff very much. They went out of their way to be helpful to us during our stay. They were friendly, and we are very grateful for their help with storing our bags after checkout so we could cruise around town a bit before taking off to the airport. We were delighted by the shuttle driver who took us the scenic route on the way to the airport because we were early... we saw two moose beside the road!, he pointed out local landmarks along the way. It was the best shuttle trip ever and left us with a warm feeling for the area as a good bye gift.

The young man at the desk that took us to the airport was personable and very helpful. He also picked us up when we arrived back home, remembered us and made us feel comfortable. He must be a great employee!

Location easy to walk to the shops.
Most of the staff.
The room size and having a microwave and fridge in room.
A member of the staff was rud and another one could not help me when asked a question.
The room I had down stairs was too norsie the air con sounds like there is water running all the time. Very hard to sleep with.
Bigger shop.
Better breakfast ideas
