Fan in bathroom wasn't working

It was very comfortable and clean. the staff were all very friendly and helpful!

The menu was a bit limited and I wished I could use room service beyond the available time.

Close to metro rail.

Noisy plumbing.

Very close to the metro, free shuttle to old town Alexandria, very helpful & friendly staff.

I am still waiting a response to my inquiry on the day I left, I will not be happy until I hear about that issue.

On my first day, the cleaning lady store my sunglasses which I had just bought. They were prescription sunglasses and I had just paid $300 for them. Cleaning lady also left the refrigerator door open which caused all of our food to go bad, they took pictures & itemized all this, however I have not heard whether I will be reimbursed for the food lost. Cleaning lady kept asking if we were leaving and if I was going to empty the frig. I told her we had one more day in the room, she was the last one in that room and kept opening the door to check the frig. I didn't think I had to go check & see if she had closed the door when we left for the night tour. We returned at 11 PM, the room was horribly hot and the food gone bad. To say the least I was furious and reported it to the night crew. I am not happy about this at all!

As far as the hotel, everything was wonderful.

The staff at the restaurant inside the hotel wasn't up to the standards we thought they would be. Our waitress was clueless and didn't even give us silverware. She blamed the kitchen for the food coming out slow which there was 4 of us at our table, each persons plate came out one at a time with at least 10 minutes between each plate.

The staff was extremely pleasant, attentive and nice to interact with.
