Very comfortable,great breakfast

They gave away our room. I made a reservation 3 mionths in advance for a King size non smoking room, ended up with 2 double beds...if I had wanted two double beds I would have booked two double beds!!

The staff were all very friendly

My room reeked of smoke even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room.

Our stay at the Hampton Inn Tampa Airport/Westpore the first of the month was wonderful. My daughter and I both remarked how pleasant all the staff was. They could not do enough to meet our needs and to show kindness with their words and deeds. We remarked when leaving, we neded to write a letter of praise for the staff and their caring of their guests at the hotel. There was not one person of the staff who did not have a smile on their face and welcomed all who were coming and going. I hope the need to stay in this area of Tampa will happen again. Hampton Inns wherever we travel is our choice of Hotel. You should rank #1 among the list. Yours truly, Mariena Webb

A pretty unhappy experience. The room was small but very clean and the bed comfortable. When we arrived, service was slow and we were assigned a double room, although we had reserved and paid for a king with fridge and m/w. It took 30 minutes for the manager to figure it out. As it was, we ended up being assigned to a SMOKING room ... king bed, no fridge or m/w. The staff was largely inattentive and the first day's breakfast was AWFUL. It all worked out ~ I'd rather have the king bed than a fresh room, so we settled. And just ate breakfast elsewhere. Shuttle service was slow and unreliable (we were told 20 minutes for a pickup from a VERY local restaurant, but it took nearly an hour and 2 phone calls ~ wasn't they couldn't find us, since the driver had delivered us there). Not sure I'd stay here again .... just not a good experience.

One of the best hotel stays I can ever remember having. I expect front desk people to be cordial & helpful & they were. But when even the guy cleaning the pool thanks me for staying there - WOW. The breakfast lady & shuttle drivers were all also very friendly and helpful. The whole way the hotel is run has the "aura" of "putting the customer & his/her comfort first. It was the "smaller" items that really amazed me - the availability of toiletries at the front desk (I'd forgotten mine!!); not only FOUR packets of coffee in the room BUT ALSO the HOT coffee set up all the time in the lobby; the lap desk as well as the set-up of a "real" desk; but also the larger things - being able to use the shuttle as needed; a very complete breakfast; the comfort & layout of the breakfast area. To say the least - a highly pleasant stay.

WE WERE ONLY THERE FOR A 6 HOUR OVERNIGHT STAY, BUT STAFF WAS VERY PLEASANT. WE LIKE BEING ABLE TO LEAVE OUR CAR IN YOUR LIGHTED LOT WHILE FLYING IN AND OUT OF TAMPA AIRPORT. THE LIMO DRIVER WAS VERY PROMPT AND COURTEOUS BOTH TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT.

The staff was great, the breakfast excellent, and the room was large and comfortable. I thought this was a good value and am planning on returning.
