It is very convenient.
We asked for a late check out of 1pm but the desk clerk did not have the autority to make that decision. Why don't you have a policy where there is an hourly charge for late check out? We got back to the hotel at 12 and were able to leave by 12:15

We have been staying at the Chelsea Motor Inn for over 30 years. We love the location and the parking. The rooms are great.
This visit was a little weird as we did not know they were renovating the hotel and scaffolding was all around our room windows. We had to close the blinds to block out the workers! We didn't care for that.

The air conditioner wasn't that effective

The location is great. Walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf, the Marina, restaurants and shops. The room was dated, but clean. Parking was included which is a plus in the city.
Rooms could use fresh paint and new carpet, but for the price you can't complain too much.

I requested a quiet room off the main street and they accommodated me with a quiet room that was in the back of the hotel. Many locations were in walking distance of the hotel.
