The biggest selling point was that all of the staff were very accommodating and personable. The location is also quite good if you want to be in the Marina District or near Fisherman's Wharf.
We noticed that many of the elevator light indicators did not illluminate inside or outside the elevator..I would think that situation would have been of some concern to the management.

Loved the location. The bed in 208 was much better than the one in 218. I liked the towels and shampoo ...the location was awesome, parking was phenomenal and I really enjoyed the windows that open to let in real air! I liked my whole stay
I think there is not anything I didn't like.

The free parking and location. We love it because we don't have to drive anywhere and we love exploring the marina district.

I love the location. I can walk Polk and Union Streets and I love the fact that I don't have to worry about my car. Parking is included and it's easy in and out. I got a quiet room and didn't care that it was on the light well even though it was dim without lights. I've stayed with this group many times and have always been happy with them.

The Chelsea Motor Inn is well-run, well-maintained, conveniently located opposite a good bus connection, easy to enter and leave by car, and has convenient parking. The rooms are tastefully decorated in earth tones, the beds are comfortable -- mattresses are new and firm -- the bathrooms inviting, the linens of good quality. The room rates seem to be creeping up, but for now it remains a good mid-range place to stay.
