I loved the big room. I had room for yoga in the morning. Also the sauna. We also love that you can bring your dog into the restaurant. The climbing gym is amazing as is the very high climbing wall on the side of the building!
The price seemed a bit steep for a single overnight. But the amenities were there, although no breakfast . Restaurant prices were a bit high also, given the small size of the servings.

It’s a nice place and no smoking or casino.
Loud heating woke me up a few times tried to shut off but couldn’t

I especially was impressed to get a call from the front desk when we first arrived to ask if everything was satisfactory. Than concierge brought us our champagne glasses right away when I requested them. So nice to have service like that.
The only problem was Roundabout Got our room service order wrong. But they remedied that without any problems.

We liked that the hotel was NOT a casino and had easy access to freeways,markets, downtown etc.
Although the hotel provided a free breakfast, the eggs/potatoes were very bland and did not taste good.

Very spacious room, boutique modern decor, very clean, with great bar and restaurant. Most of all, NOT casino! With all that noise, chaos and smells!
While it was fine the bath seemed small and under designed compared to the room and rest of hotel

I like everything about the Whitney Peak Hotel. I love the fact that there is a restaurant located on site, that there is no gambling at the hotel, that pets are allowed, that it is quiet, that the staff is knowledgable and friendly, that there are venues for concerts and other events within walking distance......I could go on and on!!
This question does not apply to me or my family.

The location was great as we traveled to Reno by Train and looked for someplace close to the station. The room was comfortable and quite with a great view of the city. It was a nice surprise to find bath robes in the room available to wear during our stay We enjoyed several delicious meals at the Roundabout Grill.
I had reserved a room with a King size bed but was told at check-in (3:45 pm) that King rooms had not been cleaned yet. Instead of waiting, we took a room with 2 Queen beds. I feel we would have slept more comfortably in a King bed.
