Karen, I think that was her name....fantastic! Manager quality! Explained elevator situation to us..only staff can take us up or down. Due to the age of the hotel.
Elevator situation. E er time we needed to go up (4 stories) staff was not at front desk. There for my sons wedding. I am sure they were close but as a guest perspective not good. If you are going to make this policy you should staff for it. Someone needs to be in the lobby at all times. Karen was not working when this happened and at checkout she greeted us on the fourth floor. Mother of the groom and guests were all taking stairs after Karen left. The day of the wedding.

The quaint charm of the historic Inn is wonderful. While the hotel is historic, the services and accommodations are definitely 21st century.

Loved the history of the building!! Our room was a little tight, with large bed & small area, but, it was well done & relatively comfortable.
We were mostly pleased.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, gracious and helpful. The lobby is beautiful. Our room was quiet and had everything we wanted/needed.
There was nothing we didn't like.

A totally delightful experience! Nice folks...good food ....charming environment ...the room was adorable...we could pretend we were back in the wild west...I highly reccommend this hotel...and the whole friendly town of Prescott Az.

The location makes the hotel a place to stay...otherwise it is not a great hotel.
Did not like the room layout..sink in the room meant that I had to wake my wife when I got washed and dressed to leave while she would have liked to sleep in.
There are stairs everywhere not conducive for older adults to visit.
the TV did not have CC ,,,though the function was indicated the change never took effect...

Having to buzz for the elevator is very inconvenient. I left Prescott in 1962 and think the same elevator was in service then. For older guests (like me)it is difficult to go up and down the steps but I found I had to a couple of times (and I only stayed 1 night). The front desk was busy. Please consider putting in an elevator that guests can operate themselves. I think you have gotten your money's worth out of this one.
