Very handy hotel for services to and from Gare Nord. Great breakfast, two different roms on each stay, first stay was a good room with a view to the street, second visit, our room was at the back, god room but no view.
Having only one lift operating was a major negative. There was a 6 day difference from our original stay and finding still only one lift operating on our second stay was annoying.

I and the two friends who were with me (all three of us are in our early eighties) chose the hotel because of the nearness of the Gare du Nord. We liked the breakfasts very much.
We did not think it warranted the upgrade to 4 star. Last year it was 3 star, and was much less expensive. One of the two lifts was out of action throughout our 4 night stay. For a time both lifts were not working. The washbasin in my room needed attention as the water did not flow freely away. The carpets in all our rooms needed replacing, as they were stained. Altogether it did not meet the requirements of a 4 star hotel. I would recommend it only as a 3 star.

Staff very helpful (I have mobility problems) Room clean, tidy, well furnished and serviced. The proximity to Gare du Nord was very useful. Breakfast was very good.
Athe lift service could do with updating and speeding up. Sometimes we had quite long waits.

I've known this hotel for 20 years - Since I last stayed there (8yrs) it has become shabby and ill maintained. It is now very over priced. I will not return.

L'amabilité du personnel et le petit déjeuner
La chambre "single" du 6ème trop petite mal agencée,avec vue sur un arrière horrible donne une très mauvaise impression de l'hôtel .
Le personnel de l'hôtel a remédié à cette mauvaise impression de départ en me changeant de chambre sur ma demande, et même dans la chambre double la salle de bains n'était pas au top........

Es ist besonders angenehm, wenn man mit dem Zug in Paris ankommt, gleich
im Hotel zu sein und nicht mit dem Gepäck durch die Stadt zu ziehen.
