Ottawa Embassy Hotel & Suites

Location, comfortable beds (the cot was better than most other hotels), quiet rooms. Staff was helpful providing area information.

Booked/prepaid room with 2 double beds; checked in late evening...only room left was 1 double bed. The two adults that were NOT ok sleeping in the same bed. A cot was provided, but is not what we prepaid for. Also no microwave or refrigerator as stated amenities; had to keep everything on ice. Clerk said "bookings on EXPEDIA were requests and not a guarantee"! A party of 7 was also trying to check in and had worse problems. EITHER THIS IS AN EXPEDIA PROBLEM OR THIS HOTEL IS OVER BOOKING THEIR ROOMS! Not a good first impression, but after the initial stress of checking in, the hotel seemed quiet and comfortable. Might try this hotel again, but would book it directly and only if assured of getting the room type and amenities that were paid for.

Your parking in front while registering is quite small and the turn to get to the underground parking a bit archaic. Have to go back out onto the street to line up with the overhead door.

The room was great! Having a full sized fridge and stove were really great. The walk-in closet was fantastic! And the living room area and table were so comfortable. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and if I needed help they were there very quickly. Room service was also very fast and the food was delicious! The patio was also an added bonus.

The lock on the patio door was broken and a bar had been placed on the door which helped to keep it closed. However, even with the bar, the door could be opened from the outside providing a tiny space which a very small person would be able to get through. It would be good if this could be fixed. Probably noone would ever get in but it would certainly contribute to your guest's peace of mind.

Praktisch keine Infos vom Hotelpersonal; man muss allles erfragen. Aber das scheint mir ein allgemeines Problem in Kanada zu sein: Man ist eher "mundfaul". Aber nicht unfreundlich. Leider zu laut, da sich auf beiden Seiten des Zimmers Verbindungstüren zu Nachbarnzimmern befanden. Man konnte das Fernsehprogramm aus dem Nachbarzimmmer "mithören". Bei dem Preisniveau hätte ich das nicht erwartet. Das Auschecken hat zu lange gedauert, da nur eine Person zuständig.

The suites are large and the hotel is very well located. Windows can be opened for fresh air.

The hotel suites are in need of updating and though some furniture has been replaced fairly recently (large flat screen TV for example) much of it, and the carpets are very worn.

Proximité des attraits et du centre ville.

Le tapis dans la chambre laissais à désirer, plutôt douteux. Un peu dispendieux par contre c'est au centre de tout.

Bardzo przyjazny personel, szczególnie w recepcji, którzy wiedzą na temat restauracji, miejsc zdarzeń i jak dostać się do rzeczy w okolicy.
