Staff were courteous and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean and quiet.
Pillows were all the big and fluffy sort, rather than a diversity of types like some hotels provide.

Loved the location and the classic hotel setup. Loved the Piedmont, 1st floor bar and the 6th floor lounge. Steve in particular is a terrific barkeeper. Will stay here again. Thanks

Restaurant and bars in hotel - no need to go out in the bad weather. Also, the staff was very nice and accommodating.
Would have liked a refrigerator in the room.

Love most everything about the room. But there was a torn light shade, a tag hanging from beneath the turquoise and gold crown chair and from beneath the foot of the bed! It would have been very nice to have a small table to place between the two wing backs for your drink or glass of wine while watching the news. There were also splits in the wingback chairs upholstery. While clean these details detracted from the beauty. I felt a little cheated. Detail is what it is about!

Rooms size with lounge chair and desk with chair. Selection of restaurants on site and hours for early risers. Location to historic downtown.
TV screen too small and no small refrigerator in room.
