Beautiful hotel which is well located

Need more signage as to room location once you exit the elevator on a floor. Very confusing

This was our first visit to the Walper and we were really impressed. It is a beautiful hotel. We appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. The room was spotless and we loved the funky and trendy décor. It was very comfortable and they thought of everything...from robes to a spare umbrella to boxed water chilling in the fridge alongside chilled glasses. The hand delivered coffee in a personalized bag was a nice touch. We would highly recommend the Walper to anyone visiting Kitchener!

The beautiful decor, the fabulous food, the cheerfulness and helpfulness of the staff, the easy parking.

No, well, not that they could do anything about it: the main road, Charles Street, is under a multi-year renovation project which makes access around the hotel, well, around all of Kitchener, quite confusing for non-residents not familiar with alternate routes.

Beautiful, comfortable room, amazingly comfortable bed! Marcel, who greeted us, showed us our room, and gave us advice on where to eat was so helpful and kind - a great ambassador for the hotel.

the service was great in all areas

No hot water in shower morning and evening. Small rooms, closet sized. Thin walls, could hear people talking in nearby rooms. Old wooden creaky floors. Could hear people walking above and in halls.

Yo había dejado mi cámara de carga de la batería en una toma de corriente. Me había dado cuenta el día después de que nos marchamos. Llamé para preguntar por él, salió el nombre y número para ponerse en contacto conmigo. Dijeron que iban a tener que consultar con limpieza de la casa. No he recibido una llamada para un par de días más tarde me llamó de nuevo y la misma cosa. Supongo que no lo encontré, pero me hubiera gustado una llamada de vuelta antes de salir a comprar uno nuevo. Teniendo en cuenta que llamé dos veces para preguntar sobre lo que debería haberme dado la cortesía de una llamada de vuelta!
