Beautiful hotel which is well located

Need more signage as to room location once you exit the elevator on a floor. Very confusing

This was our first visit to the Walper and we were really impressed. It is a beautiful hotel. We appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. The room was spotless and we loved the funky and trendy décor. It was very comfortable and they thought of everything...from robes to a spare umbrella to boxed water chilling in the fridge alongside chilled glasses. The hand delivered coffee in a personalized bag was a nice touch. We would highly recommend the Walper to anyone visiting Kitchener!

The beautiful decor, the fabulous food, the cheerfulness and helpfulness of the staff, the easy parking.

No, well, not that they could do anything about it: the main road, Charles Street, is under a multi-year renovation project which makes access around the hotel, well, around all of Kitchener, quite confusing for non-residents not familiar with alternate routes.

Beautiful, comfortable room, amazingly comfortable bed! Marcel, who greeted us, showed us our room, and gave us advice on where to eat was so helpful and kind - a great ambassador for the hotel.

the service was great in all areas

No hot water in shower morning and evening. Small rooms, closet sized. Thin walls, could hear people talking in nearby rooms. Old wooden creaky floors. Could hear people walking above and in halls.

Ich hatte meine Kamera Batterieladung in eine Steckdose links. Ich hatte erkannt, der Tag, nachdem wir ausgecheckt hatten. Ich rief darüber erkundigen, links Name und Nummer an mich wenden. Sie sagten, sie müssten mit Hausreinigung überprüfen. Ich habe nicht einen Anruf erhalten, wieder so ein paar Tage später rief ich wieder und die gleiche Sache. Ich vermute, sie fand es nicht, aber ich hätte gern einen Anruf zurück, bevor ich ging, um ein neues Gerät kaufen. Bedenkt, dass ich zweimal angerufen, um darüber zu erkundigen sollten sie mir gegeben haben, die Höflichkeit eines Anrufs zurück!
