Hotel was quiet and spotless

The hotel is a very cute, clean hotel with a great view of Galveston Bay. It's a great place to stay.

The location was great. Loved the view. Loved the bathroom. Staff were nice and friendly.

The channel for ABC was not audible. The staff checked and it was a “satellite” issue. I was annoyed by the push of Fox News.

Loved that I called ahead and asked them to clean the pool because it was dirty a month ago and when we arrived, the 3 kids were happy, the pool was very clean, thank you, thank you.

Wonderful fragranced air throughout the entire hotel. Spacious, spotless room with comfortable bed and super little balcony. Large bathroom with lovely white towels. Easy access to everything at the boardwalk. Most of the reception staff were polite, friendly and helpful (but not all).

We arrived in an airport shuttle with a driver who did not know the area and struggled to locate the hotel. No clear directions to help us find the hotel reception meant we struggled up the front steps with our heavy suitcases. Had we arrived by car it would have been clear where to go but as pedestrians we thought the directions could be much clearer. Lack of a dedicated concierge meant we struggled to get assistance with a couple of issues (could not rent a car, I mean really, no cars available in Texas)? In house breakfast would have been nice, or even a coffee bar with snacks. Pool area lacking in amenities, sometimes found the pool area door locked when it should have been open. Water in pool very, very cold.
