Holiday Inn Miami West - Airport Area, an IHG Hotel

The staff was very helpful.

Rugs in hallway needed to be cleaned.

Friendly staff. Location, pool. Food was very good in restaurant.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Could feel springs through mattress

Easy accessibility to mall. Availability of of services eg restaurant

Parking was difficult. Bedding was flat.

It was hassle free

The staff, no breakfast ( Coffee) , no clean towels. The first day I had three towels, then, 2 and then 1. The badroom leaks.

The staff were polite and pleasant.

I am not writing to hurt the hotel, but there are things that could be improved. I am comparing to La Quinta Inn for instance (free breakfast, free computer/printing service, laundry room for guests to wash/dry). First, since I booked on priceline, we got no complementary continental breakfast. Second, I needed to print my Greyhound bus tickets and the business center charged $1 per 10 minute use of a computer and 10 cents per page printed. In any case, the internet was down, and I was unable to do this. I had to go to the Greyhound Station and purchase my tickets there, which cost us more! We were interested in taking a tour: It was $40 each just to take us to the place where the tour originated, and $40 each for the tour, that is $80 per person and we were 2 people so that would have been $160! Needless to say, we did not take the tour. The hotel is located in an out-of-the way industrial/warehouse area. Places to eat were quite far away. Fortunately, we found a Colombian restaurant nearby (Don Matías) with very nice staff and very good Hispanic food, where we had breakfast and lunch. The hotel needs updating: could use new rugs and paint inside. The hotel avers it has a Fitness Room. This is a room which only contains a treadmill and a recumbent cycle. My husband was very disappointed.

That it was near shopping and car rental.

A bit rundown and old, the rooms does not smell freshly cleaned, the beds are sunken, bed linen are soiled and has holes. the carpets need a good shampooing,there were mold on the bath room tiles, the tub needs to be changed, water collects in the tub when taking a shower. I would not stay there again.

Las habitaciones son amplias, buena luz y el servicio al aeropuerto es apropiado,en general las instalaciones se pueden mejorar, podrìan ser mejores.

Falta màs aseo, se debe aspirar la alfombra porque està sucia y debe hacer años que no la lavan, el polvo se nota fàcilmente.. Las sàbanas tenìan manchas de picaduras de algùn insecto, no sabemos cuàl fue.Si las personas estàn en la habitaciòn se debe permitir que salgan para asear y no insistir cada diez minutos para que uno se vaya para asear.El menù del desayuno es muy reducido y caro para lo que ofrece.Las toallas ya se ven viejas y un poco percudidas

Todo esta muy cerca y el shuttle esta siempre disponible

Se les olvidaba reponer las toallitas y los artículos de baño, asimismo los vasos
