Quick easy check in and good location for the M5
We had a horrible smell coming from the sink when we turned on the tap. Smelt of drains and not very pleasant. As it was bedtime when we turned the tap on it was too late to request a change of room, so had no alternative but to stay put. We did report this on early checkout. It spoilt our stay.

Thought all the staff were good and the hotel in top condition
Nothing major, but thought the mattress too springy and possibly it is time to move to king size beds instead of doubles? Also, a loo brush is needed, not nice to leave the pan for a cleaner to clean up

The convenience of the Barn Owl Vintage Inn for dinner.
Closeness to city centre and use of Park & Ride.
The bad smell from wash basin. This we reported and were moved to another room which was satisfactory.

The room was nice as we only stayed one night. The staff was friendly
The value for money was very poor. £75 for the room & £15 for the dog (I dont mind paying for the dog). However very poor quality brekfast. We stayed at Eynsham Hall a couple of weeks ago and paid £75 which included a beautiful buffet breakfast with fresh hot drinks not out of a machine. Although it said the brekkie was free we are aware it is hidden in the price. Also the room was very cool in the evening.
