We appreciate the access to the downtown Eau Claire parks, Farmer's Market, & the access to the system of bike trails. We borrowed bikes 2 X during our stay & had a great time exploring the trail system with our son, who helped put the trail map together.
The futon bed was adequate, but our son said it wasn't very comfortable.

We liked the turntable in the room and the bed was very comfortable
We were on the 3rd floor (not the room we had reserved though) and the only working ice machine was on the first floor
