Best Western Plus Palm Court Hotel

Central location in Davis. Very helpful staff. They are beginning to remodel which will be nice. Room was large, clean, however looked on to the street. There was some traffic noise.

Location, comfortable beds, ease of checkin

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very private and quiet and the hotel was situated in a great location for us to get around Davis while visiting our daughter at school.

The convenient location, proximity to restaurants, & easy freeway access.

No laundry bags until requested.

The room was great, liked the fact that it was a suite with separate living room area and desk.

I am really annoyed by the fact that I did not get points for my stay, as I booked through you rather than directly with the hotel. I will not book through you again if this can not be changed.

Staff was courteous and helpful

We were awakened at 6am by a loudspeaker being tested for the Davis "stampede" (run). We had no warning that this would be happening. We also found that our coffeemaker in the room wasn't working, but we were ab le to get coffee down in the lobby

Cleanness and friendliness

Liked the size of rooms, nice to be able to be divided for early risers and lat sleepers It is a nice touch to have fruits available 24/7 in main lobby.....and coffee and other hot drink mixes, fruit, cheese, and other edible items....saving us a breakfast cost. They needed more yogurts, though, as they ran out after 2 days.

Our room #102, had french doors that did not close easily on the right side and the left wouldn't stay closed. The settee/sofa bed was very uncomfortable to sit on to watch TV. My wife stayed in bedroom to watch. Would prefer a full sized sofa, so we could lie down on it to rest. (We did not open it to use as bed). Maybe another comfy chair out there, like in bedroom.

We liked staying in the downtown area, walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc. We also liked having the Keurig coffee maker in the room

We arrived on Thurs 10/31 late in the evening and were told that the room we requested was not available (king bed room). We then checked into room 214 which had 2 queen sized beds. My husband and I tried to sleep on the bed closest to the window however we kept rolling into the middle because the bed was so worn out. We then moved to the other bed which was only slightly better. The room is situated right above the restaurant which is also next to the bar. We heard loud laughing, talking, drinking and yelling from bar-goers until 3am every night we were there. Im not sure if any of the other rooms are quieter but I will never stay here again. In addition, the cleaning staff didnt restock the k-cups very well so I had to keep asking for more.
