Friendly staff, snacks, very clean room

The hotel hall and room had a 'musty' odor and the a/c temperature could not be conrolled or fan turned off.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were excellent, the most comfortable bed I have slept in at a hotel. Great breakfast.

Not a thing....

We checked in very late at night, choosing to stay at a hotel for a few hours rather than forego sleep to drive from Raleigh to catch an early flight next morning-hotel is very close to airport. Staff was fine, place was clean and accomodations quite roomy and nicely appointed.

1. The bedspread and linen had such a horribly strong fragrance as though from heavily concentrated detergent or a heavy fabric spray that it kept me up all night,irritating my sinuses-and me-and defeating the goal of getting sleep before departing at 6 a.m. Do hope the hotel will consider changing products used to clean or treat that linen in the future. Unfortunately, because of that I would not stay there again, unless I was assured linens are no longer treated in the same way nor have any overwhelming odors. This is why "Comfort" is rated a '5'. 2. Also, we asked for a top floor room, but were given a first floor. A noisy wedding reception was going down the hall in the lobby when we arrived at 1l:30pm and the noise went on for another 30-45 minutes.
