Convenient location
$14 parking charge
expensive breakfast in hotel restaurant, but food and service were only average
dead bugs on floor of room/hotel smelled like exterminator spray
room was overpriced for small size
small elevators
my husband saw a rodent running across the courtyard near the restaurant on Sunday morning
we have stayed at this hotel in the past, and it's definitely not what it used to be
we will avoid staying there in the future

Beautiful hotel and location is fantastic for conferences held on campus. Easy walk to downtown Chapel Hill. The food and service in the hotel restaurant was impeccable. One of the best meals I have ever eaten.

Location, décor, professional staff
The Hallways and elevator waiting areas were not regularly dusted and/or appropriately vacuumed. The hallway carpet on our floor (3rd) had bits of paper, cotton balls and even a q-tip on it during our 3-day stay. (When they finally got around to vacuuming, the machine was so ancient it left dust balls behind.)

Lovely inside and out. Close to everything.
I liked the salad and dessert, but did not like the entree at dinner.

We only stayed one night while we were visiting UNC. I hated to check out. The room was lovely and comfortable. The photographs in the halls were so interesting.

Most probably the smallest hotel room I have had and I have stayed in hotels around the world and with a price not commensurate with the size of the room.
