The room air conditioner did not cool the room. One of the pillows on the bed was completely lumpy and should have been thrown out!

Very homey and comfortable. We will be back when visiting Longwood gardens.

The hotel was right where I wanted to be in the heart of Chadds Ford. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was nice and clean. Things are starting to wear out a little and I think it was over priced for what you get but all in all a good experience.

Everything was great. Loved the afternoon tea and cookies, felt like home as I usually have tea at 3, it was 4-6 but the difference in time didn't make that much difference. loved it!

Friendly staff.
The breakfast is a bit on the meager side--they tend to run out of things late in the time slot for breakfast, and it appears that the front desk staff is expected to clear tables and put out more food when they have a free moment. My friends had a room with an inoperative telephone, and I have had the same problem on a prior visit.

The gas fireplace and jacuzzi in the room was a really nice touch.
The internet connection to my Ipad did not work in the room - had to stand in the doorway to get the connection and then if I went into the room, I lost it.

The staff couldn't be nicer and the room was very comfy and a great value. We slept like babies. They could have had more fruit (like fruit cocktail) at the breakfast. That's my only criticism. However, if you plan to stay, the only restaurants nearby for dinner are very expensive. Plan to drive into West Chester or Kennett Square if you don't want to pay $$$.
