The staff was very helpful, from the desk clerks who helped me multiple times open the door to my room, to the cleaning staff. All were friendly and helpful.
I understand that the motel is about to be renovated, which is good to know. I have stayed here for many years and I was surprised at the very rundown condition of the hallways and the service areas. My room was very nice, but I actually had to change rooms after many times having my room card not open the door. I heard other people in the halls having the same difficulty. I will stay there next year on the strength of the promise of renovation, but if conditions aren't improved, I will look elsewhere.

Pleasant room, within walking distance of the Shakespeare Festival.
The breakfast service was mediocre. No was there to service the breakfast area. We had to summon the front disk for coffee cups, ingredients for the waffle machines and other breakfast items that would have been available if an attendant had been present.

The hotel was located within walking distance (blocks) of so many attractions such as : the winery, restaurants, shopping, parks, rock church, museum, nightlife, walking trail and atmosphere of downtown quaintness. Very little driving was required.
A couple of issues such as:
Housekeeping knocked on door early in morning when privacy sign was hung out
Each time I went to the front desk to inquire about attractions they were not knowledgeable about town events or directions. In fact the common reply by three different employees at front desk was "I did not know that was in our town" or "I heard of it, but not sure"
Room had musty old smell, but I brought along Lysol and candle which helped.

We could walk everywhere. Nice and cozy place. i come every year and will definitely plan to stay there next year. I used to stay at Best Western but no more!

We could walk to the Shakespeare plays.
Pretty minimal. Ice machine out of order, laundry room empty, leaves and litter collecting in outdoor walkways, worn carpet, minimal breakfast--not even any whole wheat bread, cheap brands. The place could use some love.

Το κεφάλι ντους είναι κακή και πρέπει να αντικατασταθούν είτε ή να καθαρίζονται. Είναι ασκήσεις μια τρύπα στην πλάτη σας και δεν φαίνεται να είναι ρυθμιζόμενο. Οι εγκαταστάσεις που ψάχνετε αρκετά εξασθενημένες. Το φως καλύπτει σπασμένο διακόπτη και κάποιες από τις πόρτες μοιάζουν σαν να έχουν καταρρεύσει. Η προσφορά πρωινού δεν φαίνεται τόσο καλή όπως και στο παρελθόν.

άπλυτα, αλλά αντικαταστάθηκε αμέσως.
