Bismarck Hotel and Conference Center

The hotel is well located close to everything. The staff worked to make my stay very enjoyable.

The restaurant had really good food.

Alarms going off during the night and when mentioned at the front desk it was explained but no compensation for our interrupted sleep. Free breakfast would have been nice.

We found we were close to everything we needed.workers were helpful on all levels.kudos to getting us clean towels and help with the air con. in our room.

Ice machines were far from us.maybe should have 2 per floor.

The shuttle bus driver was awesome! Very personable. Prompt.

The front staff at desk upon checkin were more interested in what the other was doing than paying attention to the customers.

The rooms were large and nicely decorated

Our room was very far from main door but not a problem

It was close to home so it worked nice for us to have a weekend get away place. Also it is centrally located in Bismarck so it was easy to get around to things in the city as well. The pool area is very nice for families.

We were extremely disappointed with a few things... 1 - Our heater/thermostat was not working well. We spent the whole night getting up to increase/descrease the temp, we were either sweating or freezing. And when the heater did kick in, it sounded like a car was crashing into the side of the room. Not a rest-ful night at all! 2 - The beds did not have nice comforters on them, they were merely sheets and a blanket, nothing plush at all. With the temperature not working well in the room the thin. non-warm blankets became all TOO apparent. 3 - Room had cobwebs in the corners and behind the TV stand 4 - We asked for extra towels to be delivered on Saturday around 11am, they were never brought we had to call again in the morning and wait for them to come to take showers. 5 - Door safety lock and closing mechanism were broken. Unless we purposefully closed the door it would remain open which can cause safety issues with children in hotels.

We stayed there for the waterslide and it was good. Kept the kids entertained.

I was a little surprised to find our hotel room didn't have a fridge or microwave. That's usually pretty standard in any hotel room we have ever stayed at, so I never thought to ask in advance for those items.

The entire staff was present. The rooms were cleaned at the right time. Close to the mall.
