Views are incredible and lobby is fantastic.
Hotel is old and is not being renovated appropriately.

I really like the facility generally. Its location and view are great.
There were room service trays in the hallway that were there when we arrived and were still there when we checked out. That tends to spoil the ambiance and overall very favorable impression of the hotel.

The staff was very helpful and attentive. The grounds and facilities were all very beautiful and well kept. Food in the Restaurant was very good also.
The bay area was having a heat wave and the A/c in the rooms was having a tough time keeping the temperature cool. Staff did all they could to mitigate the situation.

Staff was friendly and accomodating. We had a wonderful room right next to Spa as requested. Morning room service was fast. Valet was great in helping us with transportation
Bell desk slow to bring up my friend's luggage...causing us to be late for reservation in Berkeley. Restaurnat stopped serving food at 10:30 p.m. on a Friday night??

Needs more parking spaces. With special events, guests don't always have a space.

We stayed there because it was just blocks from our son - location, location. We liked the restaurant and bar. The front desk was very helpful too.
