Convenient place
The front desk lady asked me for my credit card to charged 5 dollar extra for damages that we could make during our visit, we didn't any.

Friendly helpful staff. Food was excellent. I left items in my room when I checked out. I called the next day and the items had been found and they made arrangements to mail them to me. I really appreciated the service.

The staff was very plesant .
The carpets were badly worn and very stained. The sink in my room was cracked. The hotel needs to be professionaly repainted. The paint repairs showed a level of non professional paint work.

We enjoy the breakfast and it is where our event is held - the rooms are comfortable although slightly dated.

Hotel Staff (unsure about kitchen - didn't get breakfast) was great, Dominica was outstanding.
Bartender is a juvenile, non-customer oriented and more concerned about "harassing" the waitress' (on-shift w/him) than the customer's general needs. He denied me drinks - cut-off. Because I sought service over his silent treatment. I have stayed there about 2 times/year since 2003. Won't be returning there. Nonetheless, if he was worried about us, he could have served me in my room? I saw him at the breakfast counter & he was still "smoozing" the female staffer working the cashier. He's a Wolf chasing the Lambs (Wolf & Hen house).

All of the staff, from the maintenance men to the managers, were friendly and treated us like we were people. I've stayed at a few places where we were treated as a burden, no one would say hello or sometimes even acknowledge us. Not at the MCM Elegante, everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and said hello when they saw us!

As I remember it, we were in room 454. The only negative comment we had is that the door into the room needed a paint touchup.

I liked that the lounge and restaurant were located within the facility, the room was comfortable, and the staff was courteous.
The carpet on the third floor is VERY stained, making the hotel appear un-maintained
