Humphry Inn & Suites

Rooms were great, comfortable, staff was friendly and fun….Breakfast was good. Parking was free.

Like the Humphry very much when traveling to Winnipeg. Have stayed there 3 times in 2014 for business. Great location, nice big rooms, quiet. Good breakfast included.

Two minor complaints, one is only one bar of soap is provided in the bathroom on arrival....that means you have to use that one at the sink and in the shower until the next day, when a second bar of soap is provided. Recommend either providing liquid dispenser or provide two bars, one for the sink and one for the shower. (it comes across as a very minor but cost cutting principal). The other recommendation would be to have trays available to take breakfast up to the rooom when busy. On two mornings the breakfast area had no tables available (good for the hotel) and I had to take my breakfast back to my room, just cumbersome to try to carry a coffee, juice, plate and bowl of fruit. I realize you probably don't want to encourage this practice as there is better control when people stay in the room, however a limited supply of trays would be a nice touch.

We especially liked the front desk staff. They were always friendly and helpful. They helped us figure out how to use the city bus system and told us what buses to take to get to our various destinations. They drew directions on a map for the locations of near-by restaurants. Their own free breakfast was pretty good, too, with different menu selections each day. My wife and I would definitely go back to the Humphry Inn.

Our room was very quiet. It was located next to the ice machine, but we never even heard any noise there. The room was large and very well equipped. The breakfast was great. The elevators were quiet and fast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was nice and the way the front and back doors were located was very good. We will definitely plan to stay there again.

The bed was a bit firm for me, but I have a very arthritic back. The others in my group thought the beds were fine. The room was arranged a bit hodge-podge, and we had to rearrange the furniture a bit so we weren't falling over some of it. Certainly there was nothing major that we didn't like.

Excellent breakfast,coffee always available

I had to attend a meeting close by and the early check in was much appreciated.

The pool and hot tub were not available and we were not informed of that situation until we had checked in. We were really looking forward to it.
