Hampton Inn Watertown

The Hampton Inn is my favorite hotel. I can always depend on it meeting a high standard in all categories. Once again. It met my expectations

Upon my arrival, my room wasn't as clean as usual. The bathroom floor was slightly dirty and human hairs were in the tub and floor.

Everything was very pleasant

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good except they were slow in keeping the food available.

We went to Watertown because my husband's brother died. I went on line the night before to rent a room. I went in under Trivago. I found several rooms for $84.00 a night. I chose the Hampton because it had a breakfast buffet. I printed my confirmation from the site, and it was for $91.0?(including tax and fees). We left the next morning. We checked into the hotel Saturday afternoon. The desk clerk looked at our confirmation, looked at his computer, and then back at the confirmation paper, and said we were ok. He kept the confirmation paper. The next morning when we received a bill for $142.87, I complained at the desk. I was told this sometimes happens when people go through a third party. The clerk from the night before (Chris) was there, but when he saw us, he took off. The girl tried to help us but could not. She told me it was booked through Expedia and told me who to call. It took Expedia a long time to find my reservation, and they said it was for $142.87. We finally left the hotel. We were told that our confirmation sheet had been thrown away. I spent the better part of Monday trying to find out what happened. I found out that the hotel was billing me for $174.0? for one night and $142.83 for a second night. We were only there for one night. I called the hotel manager, and he was really nasty with us. He was not going to do anything for us no matter what. When I checked my email confirmation on Monday, I pulled up your confirmation for $142.87. That is the first I saw it. Your confirmation was totally different from what I printed Friday night. This was definitely a case of fraud. I am scared to use any of these search engines again. I have been hearing horror stories from other people too.

Breakfast was excellent, the room was clean and the pool was a great experience for our girls.

We did not have enough bath towels for 4 people. The hotel provided 4 towels and we shower twice a day.

Sheets were clean and comfortable

Guy at front desk was a bit rude when we asked if we could book an extra night.

The breakfast was great!!
