Carpets were clean, room was clean, was quiet for being close to highway. Resturant right there and wonderful waitresses and waiter. Grounds were so well groomed. I will stay there again and will recommend this hotel.

The air conditioning was a one unit so could not turn it off and the room was chilly. Everything else was great.

Convenient location to where we needed to be.

Rooms are old. They need updating. TV was about 20 years old. But you get what you pay for.

Very pleasant rooms and lovely courtyard. The Lamp Liter is an older establishment (the rooms have actual keys) but it has been maintained well. Restaurant is on the grounds and breakfast there was good. Overall, a nice place and I would definitely choose it again if I am in Visalia.

It could use a few updates. For example, there is no elevator to the second level which is inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage. Also, the railing along the second floor walkway is a little unsafe for toddlers and young children and could use an update to modern codes. But obviously, this would only be a problem if you are traveling with little ones.

The entire staff was polite and helpful. I have returned to the Lamp Liter Inn a number of times during the last few months since my wife died because I wanted to visit her grave site at the Visalia Cemetery. The friendly atmosphere of the Inn helped me to stay in a positive mood throughout my visit.
