The cottage was wonderful the price was great and the staff were exceptional

I loved the view of the ocean. My room was right above the 101 freeway, so I could hear the noise of traffic. To me it was worth the fantastic ocean view out of every window. The Historic Pierpont Inn was built in 1905, long before the 101 was little more than a 2 lane road a good distance from the hotel. No worries! The staff leaves complimentary ear plugs in your room for those who sleep lightly.
It's going through some remodeling right now. So the restaurant is unavailable (or hard to find?) But the view make up for any inconvenience.

We loved the fireplace in our room, the patio, and the very comfortable bed.
The cafe was not open.

Very large suite, nice for family get together.
Wish there was more artwork or wallpaper in room, kinda plain. A wet bar or kitchenette would be nice. And the Do Not Disturb door tag was too ambiguous, we put Clean our Room several times by mistake

Very nice accommodations.
There was a bit of an ant problem, but maintenance came right away and figured out how the ants were getting in and took care of the problem. Really appreciated them : )

Like vicinity and nearness to town center.
Yes would like to see the part which is uninhabitable either demolished or made safe.

Always very nice
You need to have a large chair recliner style...not enough chairs not practical...
