Best Western Plus Vancouver Airport Hotel

24 hour airport shuttle 2nd room we were placed in was wonderful, there are 2 sizes and qualities of rooms

First room did not have working TV and they said it was their service that there were several rooms that did not have service. Then they moved us for the second night to a very nice part of the hotel with a very nice room.

Accessible to the airport, comfortable and affordable.

Can you get rid of the Oak Street Bridge??

We lost a ski mitt and phoned to see if it was found. It wasn't but we asked to please try again since it must have been lost while repacking the suitcase. This time around they found the mitt, hoorah. Thanks for looking again. The mitt was put into the safe and the lady with access to the safe had left for the day and wasn't working the following day. But, to our great happiness, she agreed to come in on her day off, take out the mitt and hand it over to a friend of ours who lives not too far from the hotel. Thank you!!!

The White Spot on site was very convenient and the food was great. I loved the room and the bed was very comfy. I also liked that the hotel recycles and wants to save water etc by not having someone come in and change the sheets every day. I feel that is a good business model to have. Having a ride for a late night food run was good, too, though I did not use it. And since I used the computer room in the business center that was nice to have. Oh, and the 24 hours shuttle is ideal since airplane flights leave at odd hours. The shuttle was one of the biggest reasons why I stayed at this particular hotel.

It is a little thing, but I would have liked more specific information about the bus to 22nd street to get to Vancouver. Something like " to get to downtown Vancouver, you take the 100 bus to 22nd St, the ride is about half an hour and the stop is across the street. At 22nd Street you take the Skytrain westbound, buy a ticket in the machine for $2.75. To get the bus back to the hotel you go to the front of the bus departure line which is gate 8. The stop for the hotel is Oak St." And have the hours the bus runs. I figured it out and the bus drivers helped out but having the information up front would have been nice.

Location is perfect for my work schedule in Vancouver.

I was surprised--not having stayed there for some time--that we were charged to park our vehicle. This is not a sleek upscale downtown hotel; I found the charge very off-putting.

Near the airport and the staff are always very nice

I found hair in the bathtub and there were no light bulbs in the lamp by the coffee maker. I was very ill at the time and did not use the shower or make coffee
