We stayed at the same location a few years ago. it was so much nicer this time because of the remodel.
They need more space for guests to have breakfast. we ended up leaving to have breakfast elsewhere because there simply was no room to sit when we had the time.

Distance from the busy tourist area, but close enough to get there quickly when we wanted to. Proximity to good restaurants and only one block from the I-55 off/on ramp.
At breakfast time, all tables were occupied but the one right adjacent to the air conditioner on two of the three mornings that we were there, and that was our only choice. It was extremely hot during those three days so the a/c was going "full tilt." Perhaps some rearrangement of the tables or the addition of one or two more would permit a choice not so close to the "arctic blast."

Staff was willing to deal with the issue of moving my daughter and I to another room d/t finding a bed bug. They were pleasant and not confrontational about it.
This hotel is extremely hard to get into the parking lot when approaching from the north.
My daughter found a bed bug. We realize that this is a current epidemic but it is still unsettling to find. I probably will not stay there again even though the staff moved us to another room.
