The location and the friendly staff.
This is an old hotel which needs some help in refurbishment. For example the hotel is aware there is a problem with the room door locking device. However, they seem to be more interested on explaining how to get around the problem instead of getting someone in to fix the problem once and for all.

Clean with good location and pickup from airport
Parking facility was not explained well when reservation was made. After discussion, the problem was resolved but walked away feeling as though I should have known the terms of the parking agreement which were explained in error to me over the phone.

The staff was very helpful. The parking was great. The room was fine. The location is incredible, close to the airport, close to offsite car rental, close to the SkyTrain stop and close to the summer Night Market.

The location was excellent for us. Susan, the lady on duty when we arrived, was most co-operative and willing to assist us with e-mailing and in getting us settled as quickly as possible. Her attitude was courteous, polite and compassionate.
The only thing I noticed was that the toilet was very noisy when flushed and, that while annoying for a few seconds, would not deter my staying at the hotel again.
