We did not like the fact that we had to pay the extra charge for wifi (even if you use it or not) and the choice of restaurants are not that appealing to us. We were very unhappy to see the 50's diner gone.

We booked on short notice and hoped for the best, everything turned out excellent, Pam at the front desk was awesome as was her supervisor. Our room was a single King bed on the seventh floor and was very comfortable. Excellent air quality for a smoking Casino.
Some signs of normal wear and tear, would not hesitate to return.

Check in was quick and easy and we were able to get right to our room and to the function planned in the afternoon. I really enjoyed the location right off of I-395 and ease of getting in and out of the hotel. Loved having a Starbucks in the lobby as well.
The bed was quite firm but other than that it was a vey clean and spacious room.

My room was clean and comfortable. Staff always said hello or good morning, no matter whether it was the front desk personel, maid service or any of the other staff. Dealers at the table games would learn your name and when they changed, they would pass your name on to the other dealer. My overall experience I would rate a 9.
That there was no shuttle to the bowling stadium and I was bowling in the USBC tournament there. Most other hotels have a shuttle or van going to National Bowling Stadium. If the pizza and sub shops would have been upstairs, I and my companions that stayed at the hotel would have probably dined at these establishments. The mall had very little to shop from.

Had a nice room looking towards the mountains
The elevators are always screwing up. They are not dependable and it takes too long to catch an elevator.
The air conditioner was barely working.

We arrived about midnight and left to make a 5 am flight. The toilet was almost impossible to flush: had we stayed longer, we would have complained. Other than that, it was great!

I always like staying at the Grand Sierra. I learned about the shopping mall. I had to get reacquainted because of the remodeling.
I was not pleased with the mold around the bathtub.
