The bedrooms are large with period style, eclectic furnishings, and nicely appointed bathrooms. Nice views of the Old Port area. But the best part are the wonderful meals we have had in the restaurant, 22 Milk Street, quiet refined old-time fine dining. The breakfasts are super, the eggs Benedict with the best house-made corned beef hash is not to be missed.
In our king room the four huge king-size pillows were very uncomfortable and hard to sleep on. Luckily we brought a couple of our pillows as we had been away from home for some time, so that helped, but it made for a restless night. The king pillows are decorative, but it would be much better if there were other smaller softer "sleeping" pillows available on the bed or in the room. Probably these are available from housekeeping so a note to that effect would be helpful for the tired traveler.

Loved the lounge , room service, parking, and restaurant all in one. Everyone was friendly. It is a great location. Everything wad so great!! It is slightly pricey though for the basic rooms. They were slightly outdated for price. Hotel itself is amazing. Love the history in it. C
