Comfort Hotel & Suites

The staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was oh, so comfortable, and the location was perfect. The Comfort Inn in Peterborough is our halfway stop on our way to my daughter & family in the Georgian Bay Area. The location is great since it is right on the highway. Also, having driven for three hours, right after work, the idea of having to go out and find a restaurant is not appealing and so, having Kelsy's right there makes life so much easier. The staff at Kelsy's were also great. We ordered take out to take up to our room. They phoned our room about ten minutes after we ordered to say it was ready and the staff were all very pleasant.

Every thing great as usual

When we stayed at the Comfort Inn in Peterborough the Housekeeping staff heard that we had to have our dog put down while we were on holidays there. They brought a nice goodie tray for us and said that they were sorry of our loss. I thought that is really going beyond their job. We were very touched by this act of kindness and would certainly stay there again.

The hot breakfast in the lobby, microwave and refrigerator in the room were a wonderful addition to our stay

The lighting in the bathroom could have been a bit stronger/less diffuse. While it is not the hotel's fault, some of the March break children were running loudly in the hallways past 1 am in the morning. I know that we did not notify the management as that would have got us more awake. Next time we will.

The room was very large & comfortable.

Rooms and hotel were very clean and quiet.

When checking in, the room was far too warm. we had to leave the door open and open a window to try and cool it down. the window remained open all night (january)

The hotel was very welcoming with lovely decor ( I loved the Christmas tree mirrored on the shiny tile in the foyer) The staff were very capable and very eager to help with anything. E.g maps to certain destinations.

Great location and very clean.
