This hotel is clean and affordable. It is located right in the middle of downtown Charleston and the beached...perfect location.
Floor was not real clean and the overhead lights over the bed look like something had dripped on them and not cleaned off. Also, we wanted to book a movie in the room but was unable due to booking our room through Euro. We had to call the front desk and have them locate a way to let us book the movie. It finally worked.

Staff folks go above and beyond to be courteous and helpful.

Rooms very nice. Facility was in a good location.
We waited 30 minutes to check in. The lobby office was locked and there was no one there.

For the price, I think breakfast should have been included. Amenities were not more than Motel 6

hotel was clean & new

The room was clean and cozy.
The Hotel staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. After making us wait a half hour the front desk person came in never said have you been waiting long or anything and the lobby reeked of cigrette smoke.

Remodeled rooms. counters and sink. clean
Water poured out of the bath ceiling fan. Water went all over toilet and floor in bath room.

The location, the hot shower
No refrigerator, no iron, no coffee pot, loud noices outside room, not enough lighting, no breakfast, I think it would be great to have a dining area to sit for breakfast.

The room we had was very clean and nicely decorated. the beds were very comfortable.
Apparently the hotel also allows the local collage to party here. we were woken up three times by people yelling and carrying on, bottles being broken and a swear little children crying. It's to bad really a very nice hotel other wise ruins there chances of repeat guests with this kind of activity. I will never stay at this hotel again.
