The location was the prime reason we chose the Chateau Champlain. We saw it being built from the ground up as former residents of Montreal, attended a number of functions over 20 plus years but never stayed there.

1) very fine hotel
2)Situation in center of Montreal with access underground to many other interesting places
3) Fine reception by staff, easy parking
Room shower unusable: too slippery and dangerous. The bath tub needs either a carpet or a kind of non slippery protection on its bottom.

EXCELLENT SERVICES BUT BREAKFAST SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE AS IT DONE IN ALMOST HOTELS I HAD STAYED IN ESPECIALLY IN ONTARIO AND OTTAWA.
LACK OF BREAKFAST AS PART OF STAYING.

Bed was super comfortable, shower was great, excellent water pressure, mini bar was nice and the view of Montreal was awesome.
The bathroom was a little small and the parking was limited, had to park quite a distance away.
