What a sweet little hotel. I've attended many conferences in Monterey and have always stayed at the "big chain" hotels. This was such a pleasant change. It was comfortable, quiet inside, and the decor was charming. Next time I'm in Monterey I will not hesitate to stay at the Monterey Hotel. And the location was perfect walking distance to the convention center, great restaurants and the wharf.

The location was perfect.. But the noise was horrible waking up in the middle of the night was not fun there was laughing talkin at 3 o'clock in the morning..Friday night they were a bunch of kids yelling and making all kinds of noise can't nobody stop them not a good experience...
The bathroom needs a lot of updates....
