Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was absolutely delicious at dinner, so we went back for brunch in the morning and was even more impressed! The hotel is very charming and it was fun to listen as my mother-in-law was reminiscing of her youth taking the train from the depot.

Friendly staff. Clean and nicely decorated room.

The suite was great!

The staff was really great. always interested in what we were looking to do in the downtown area.

Construction was going and the other i know you guys cannot do anything about this, but the other guest were not has considerate of others. examaple: slamming doors

Location to eating places, coffee and son's apartment.

I liked the first night I was there. But not the next two nights.

There was a wedding going on there for Saturday night and the Ballroom is under the Suites where I was staying. Friday night the band was playing until about 10:00 but Saturday night the music was so loud the Bass was vibrating the pictures on the wall. I had to get up the next morning at 5:00 AM I called the front desk to get moved and they said there was no rooms available. They offered sleeping pills and ear plugs. IMAGINE THAT. The lady in the Suite next to me was raising so much hell with the staff you could hear her loud in clear. That was about 11:00. The sad part about all this is the staff at the Hotel knew what was going on and did not offer any information about the wedding. I would have booked at a different Hotel had they told me. I will make sure to ask if there any special occasions going on there. I did not need a suite all I needed was a place to sleep. My wife and I are Marriott Gold members.

Location was excellent for our purposes.

Beds were not as comfortable as we would have liked.

The hotel was very nice, staff was great, food / drink was very good!

Well-appointed, spacious room; good temperature regulation, good restaurant and service.
