Best staff, best views of Juneau, Alaska and the best place to stay. Guests get a real feel for local life & culture. The restaurants are great and their front lines staff will answer any question you have & make your stay even better. My family & I have visited Juneau many times. We always stay at The Baranof because we are treated like family there.

Great location. Baranof staff always available, approachable, friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. Have stayed at the Baranof twice in the past several months. Always a pleasure.
Some of the Baranof Starbucks staff (Danielle, or something like that) were in the final days of permanently closing the store. Staff seemed unable, unwilling or unconcerned (or all of the above, except Josh) that the Starbucks transition, though stressful, was unfair and unpleasant to take out on visitors to Juneau. Glad the store is converting to a Heritage Coffee Company location!

Our room was big and comfortable. The staff was great, friendly and professional, during check in. They also were great to help set up taxi service for our early morning departure for the airport.
The room was very warm. We couldn't get the thermostat to adjust the heat. Also, it was extremely noisy with commotion from the neighborhood bars, even with our windows closed.
