10 minutes away from the airport - good location

The hotel offered the best price of the surrounding airport hotels to IAH. Perhaps the hotel should charge a slightly higher rate and invest in airport terminal shuttle services that reflect the logistical needs of the traveller who is staying at an airport hotel. Red roof IAH used private taxis to facilitate client transfers during my experience before the hotels shuttle service started to operate at 0500am - and the result was horrendous and worrying for many clients waiting in the hotel lobby who needed to make connections and check-ins at the airport. I waited 50 minutes for a taxi to arrive - the airport was 10 minutes away - and the disconnect could have easily caused me to miss my flight. Would have gladly paid 15US$ extra for the room to have had a shuttle service available for me at 0400hrs in the morning. Please listen to this experience, it also made it very difficult for the hotel staff to cope with worried and anxious guests in the lobby. Would stay at Comfort Suites next time - faster internet connection there and a bit more expensive.

Room was very comfortable and clean, great place to stay for a stop over. Will definitely stay again.
